    In this empowering workshop, we will share our most effective tools to help you let go of the blocks holding you back and create the life you truly desire and deserve.

    Confidence is the key factor that determines both how we feel on a daily basis and whether we take the steps to create the life we truly desire. 

    We don´t create the life we desire, go after the goals we set, or put ourselves forward for the job or relationship we yearn for, because underneath we feel we are not worthy of receiving it. 

    True worthiness and confidence requires us to discover the root cause that´s been holding us back and activate our own source of wisdom, power and internal support. 


    This workshop is for you if:

    We don’t talk about shame enough because let's face it - it’s uncomfortable. But when we push it to the side and pretend it doesn’t exist, it keeps us small and stops us from fully expressing ourselves. It prevents us from deep fulfilment, joy and creativity.

    • Embodied exercises like meditation, writing and ritual

  • Introduction to Rocket Yoga

    Rocket yoga is coming to Shanti!

    A fun, physically challenging yoga practice rooted in Ashtanga and created by Larry Schultz, Rocket yoga is known for its auick pace, flowy rhythm, and playful incorporation of arm balances.

    This workshop will start with a short introduction to what Rocket is, where it comes from and what you can expect from a Rocket yoga class. You’ll be guided through a complete practice, starting with pranayama and ending with a deeply restful savasana. In the remaining time, you’ll have the chance to ask questions and workshop poses you’re struggling with or wanting to learn.

    The practice will be suitable for mixed levels, with options provided throughout. Arm balances are not a prerequisite!

    About the teacher

    Simone Topel arrives fresh to Shanti from London, where she has been teaching yoga to private clients, school teachers and students, in top studios, gyms and corporate offices across the city. With over 600 hours of training between Rishikesh, India and London, she has trained in Rocket, Ashtanga, Hatha and creative vinyasa, and completed specialised training courses on Yoga and Depression, Yoga for Running, Pain & Injury Management, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and a yearlong apprenticeship with one of her teachers.

  • Channelling Your Moods & Emotions

    With World Mental Health Day coming up on October 10th, this talk aims to empower you with new perspective and tools to channel your moods and emotions.

    We are not usually aware that our moods and emotions often govern our behaviour and choices. When we do this, we give them the steering wheel. Although moods and emotions are valuable and serve us in many ways, they don't always lead us to make the best decisions in the heat of the moment. Think of a time when your emotions got the best of you and you said something you didn't mean!

    Much of the time without us realising it, our moods are profoundly shaping the course of our lives.

    In this workshop, we'll discuss how you can practice observing your mood and actually take steps to consciously shape it. We don't need to look far - we'll consider how to practically use the body, emotions and language (BEL) as outlets for shifting moods.

  • Reset & Reclaim Your 2022 Goals

    It’s back to school time and there are 3 months left of the year. Did you set new years resolutions last January that fell off your radar?

    If you struggle to meet your goals, this workshop will help you understand why. Drawing from coaching techniques and principles of neural manifestation and human behaviour studies, you’ll learn how to set goals in a way that you can actually keep.

    You’ll be guided through the process of getting clear on your why, setting an action plan, and confronting the fears that might lead you to procrastinate or self-sabotage.

    In honour of National Relaxation day, get your bliss on in the Zen Den. Experience deep rest through a guided yoga nidra practice, with props galore and blissful background tunes for ultimate comfort. The session will start with some gentle movement to release tension in the body before softening into a guided session of deeply restorative “yogic sleep”.

  • Rethinking Rest

    Rest is an essential part of productivity, health, happiness and success. Why do many of us find it so hard to prioritise rest?

    In this workshop you’ll be invited to rethink your relationship to rest. Using coaching techniques, we’ll unpack some of the stereotypes and assumptions we each have around the value of rest. We’ll look at the 7 different types of rest and consider where and how we can all inject a little more rest into our routines. The workshop will conclude with a relaxing beginner-friendly meditation.

    We all experience loneliness from time to time. You know how it feels, but do you know where it comes from and what to do when it shows up?

    In this interactive talk, you'll get to know the stories and beliefs you hold about what it means to be lonely. We’ll also break down the commonly-held fear behind being alone. By unpacking our beliefs and assumptions about loneliness, you’ll learn how to empower yourself to handle loneliness when it shows up. We’ll also discuss how to create connection with ourselves and with others to spring us out loneliness dips.

    Expect honest conversations and a safe space to explore amongst friends.

  • Cultivating Lightness

    Sometimes we get stuck in the feeling that the world is heavy, and everything is going wrong. What we may not realise is that whatever mood we are in affects the possibilities for change that we are able to see. We can let our mood control us, or we can take control of it. One way we can shift our mood and open up new possibilities for action is by cultivating lightness.

    In this workshop we will look at how we can distinguish between true facts and feelings. We will observe the hidden messages in our body language, emotions and the language we use, and we will look at how we can work with these elements to cultivate lightness and open up new opportunities.

    In this talk, you’ll learn the truth of what optimism (really) is and how we can approach it in a mindful and productive way.

    You’ll have the opportunity to identify where in your life you may fall into the trap of pessimism, and through stories you’ll learn the methodology of a life coach that you can apply to your own life.

    This talk is for anyone interested in learning more about themselves, what draws us to “negative” thinking and how we can become more mindful optimists.
